Yes! Finally an IPad app for LinkedIn. It was like Waking Christmas morning, running down the stairs, unwrapping the gift that is shaped like the Red Ryder BB gun, and it is a sweater from Aunt Milly. I think the kids these days say fail.
I have always been bewildered why it takes so long for these large companies to bring their app development to iPads. Facebook took their sweet time and we dealt with friendly for iPad for a year for example. At least when they took their time, they came out with an app worthwhile. LinkedIn (who if you do your research has been around longer than Facebook) has a dropped a bomb of an app, that refuses to function properly. I have never loved LinkedIn for iPhone, but this makes it look like a gold standard for navigation and functionality. With split screens and a terrible color scheme it is extremely difficult to navigate, not to mention that I have yet to get the loading timer to disappear from the screen.
I did expect more. Perhaps an easier version of LinkedIn mobile? However in this case it looks like they pushed version one out, then bragged about its functionality on their home page, when perhaps they should have played the waiting game just a bit longer. Of course as Dennis Miller says, “that’s just my opinion. I could be wrong.”
